Welcome to the Philadelphia Police Hockey Club. Our members include Police Officers from Philadadelphia and surrounding agencies. Our team became the Philly Police Hockey Club in 2001. Since then we have competed in regular local leagues, as well as hosting and traveling to compete in Tournaments and benefit events.We have an on-going fundraising event that requires some travel from both teams. In January of 2002, we started the 'Clash of the Ice Coast' series, with the Third Watch Hockey Team in Bangor, Maine. To date we have each traveled to the other team's home ice twice. We have raised $14,000.00 for great organizations during the last 4 meetings.We are also 'regulars' in the Orlando Firefighters annual tournament. Some of our members have played in all 4 years that the event has been held. To date, they have raised $32,000.00 for MDA.We are looking forward to our 2008-2009 season - see you on the ice !
